Wow, it seems like forever since I've last updated the webpage. A lot has happened even though it's been silent here, I just couldn't find time to update the webpage.
Regardless, this is mainly just to let know there's actually some genuine progress going on, despite the uuhm placeholder website. ;)
After countless prototype projects that got thrown into the bin after development of about a week or so, I've decided on the main project I am going to work on.
It actually feels rather good to have a much more solid plan and much more confidence after having done a new series of prototyping.
If it weren't for a side project that got me back into prototyping more of my other ideas, I would stubbornly have been going on forever with projects I had no confidence in anymore.
I never quite had this before, but the previous project caused somewhat of a 'developers block'. I just lost interest and focus...
I know this can be normal for a tough project that's nearing it's completion, but not when you're not even halfway through.
Now I've settled on a perhaps less ambitious project, but it's definitely something with enough design possibilities.
It's a bit of a cliché, but sometimes great ideas on paper just don't seem to work in practice. Especially when a team shrinks back to one person.
That's fine with me, but it did force me to reconsider my projects and short term / long term goals for Innervision Software.
All in all it's quite a tough lesson learned considered the time that's seemingly 'wasted', but I am definitely more motivated than ever.
More news within 2 weeks!
